Another Leif Erickson Day has come and gone. I didn't get to plan any big festivities this year (because I have been too busy), but I did go out to dinner with my mom, and make an authentic Viking chowder that came out pretty well.
I don't understand why any of us still celebrate Columbus Day. He was such a jerk and a ruthless douche bag. I really think it is doing a disservice to the American people by continuing to celebrate this holiday while ignoring ones that are more truthful, and involved less torture and depravement.
Join me and BOYCOTT COLUMBUS DAY!
