I forgot that I'd taken several photos with my iPhone of the weird shadows that formed during the partial solar eclipse a couple weeks ago! So I am posting the pictures now. It was really strange and pretty. I don't exactly know how they form, but it was like all patches of sunlight that filtered through the leaves of the trees overhead were crescent shaped! Totally cool!
