I made these really simple poppers a while back, and have been meaning to share the recipe. Basically you just cook some spicy sausage in a frying pan, drain the grease out before you mix in a little cream cheese, scoop mixture into halved and seeded jalapeno's, wrap with bacon, secure with a toothpick! and bake for about 15 min, and broil for about five. And they are so yummy!
If you don't like jalapenos you can always use the little red/yellow bell peppers. And if you do use the jalapenos make sure to wash your hands REALLY well before touching your eyes! I learned that the hard way;)
